STACKFEST 2025 BY STACKADAPT

Closing StackFest in Full Color

The Legacy Gala brings the Bishop Moore Catholic High School community together for an evening centered on the school, its people and its future.

For the 2025 event, Bishop Moore had selected Rosen Shingle Creek and established the direction for the evening, but the ballroom still needed a production environment that could give the program the presence it deserved.

A trusted referral brought Bishop Moore to New Sense in late June. By November 8, custom video, LED, lighting, audio and draping had reshaped the ballroom for gala night—and a first-time collaboration had become the beginning of an ongoing partnership

One Final Experience for a Global Team

As a remote-first company, StackAdapt’s employees usually work across different countries, offices and time zones. StackFest gave more than 1,200 of them a rare opportunity to gather in one place.

After several days of company programming and team activities, the closing night needed to provide a change of pace. It had to feel celebratory, immediate and large enough for the audience in the room.

A conventional party setup could supply music and lighting, but StackAdapt wanted a finale people would remember after returning home. The neon theme offered the visual direction. The remaining challenge was finding an entertainment concept that could turn that direction into a live experience.

Big Finale for the Event

From Entertainment Inquiry
to Complete Production

StackAdapt contacted New Sense through the DJ & Drummer website on July 4, looking for a high-energy act to close the event.

New Sense initially presented two entertainment concepts: Side Project and FOCUS3D. Sample photographs from previous events helped the client understand how each option could work inside a corporate setting.

As conversations continued, the brief became more detailed. Emails and discovery meetings gave New Sense a clearer picture of the audience, neon theme, venue requirements and the level of production StackAdapt wanted for the final night.

The revised proposal moved beyond a standalone performance. It introduced several combinations of entertainment and production, including DJ Activ8, FOCUS3D LED, a full AV package and custom venue lighting.

The final direction centered on FOCUS3D LED, supported by the production systems needed to make it feel like part of StackFest rather than an act placed into the room.

Building the Show Around StackAdapt

FOCUS3D came with an established performance format, but the visuals still needed to belong to StackAdapt and its neon closing night.

New Sense shared a library of images and video content that could be incorporated into the experience. StackAdapt reviewed the proposed material and provided feedback based on its brand standards and the creative direction of the event.

That review gave both teams a practical way to shape the show together. New Sense retained the pace and visual impact of FOCUS3D, while StackAdapt had visibility into the content that would appear in front of its employees.

By the time the production reached the venue, the performance, lighting and screen content had been developed around the same direction.

FOCUS3D LED Performance

FOCUS3D LED brought live music and responsive visuals together as the centerpiece of the closing celebration. The performance combined the energy of a DJ-and-drummer show with a bold LED presentation designed for a large corporate audience. Rather than functioning as background entertainment, it gave the room a clear focal point and created a shared performance moment for more than 1,200 employees.

Full AV Production Package

New Sense provided the audio and visual infrastructure required to support both the performance and the wider closing-night experience. The system was planned around the scale of the room and the size of the audience, giving the music the necessary impact while keeping playback, visual content and technical cues connected throughout the show.

Custom Lighting Design

The lighting package extended the neon direction beyond the performance area and into the venue. Color, movement and programmed effects helped establish the atmosphere before the show and increased the visual intensity once FOCUS3D began. Lighting was treated as part of the entertainment rather than a separate room treatment, allowing the environment to change with the energy of the night.

Visual Content Curation

New Sense assembled a selection of imagery and video from its existing content library for StackAdapt to review. Client feedback helped determine which assets best reflected the company’s standards and the event’s creative direction. The approved material was then organized for the FOCUS3D experience, giving the performance a visual language that felt appropriate for StackFest.

Production Planning and Logistics

Behind the performance, New Sense coordinated the technical planning required to bring the entertainment, AV systems, lighting and visual content into the venue. This included aligning equipment, crew requirements and production logistics so each part of the show could be installed, prepared and operated as one closing-night production.

The Highlight of the Week

On September 11, FOCUS3D LED became the center of StackFest’s neon closing celebration.

The live performance gave the audience an immediate reason to gather around the stage, while the AV and lighting systems carried its energy through the venue. Visual content, color and music worked together to give the final night its own identity within the larger StackFest program.

For more than 1,200 employees, it was a chance to step out of meetings and scheduled activities and experience one final moment together before the week came to an end.

The client later described the performance as the highlight of the week and the perfect way to close the celebration. StackAdapt also expressed its appreciation for the collaboration and an interest in working with New Sense again on future events.

What began as an inquiry through an entertainment website had developed into something broader: a
branded closing-night experience supported from concept selection through final production.
“StackFest was already a major moment for the company. We wanted the final night to feel just as big.”
