Growing With One of the World's Largest Volleyball Championships

What began as a single event in 2024 has evolved into a long-term partnership between the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and New Sense. Over three consecutive championships, the collaboration has expanded from a focused entertainment activation into a multi-area production supporting one of the largest youth sporting events in the United States.

One Request Started It All

In April 2024, AAU approached New Sense in search of entertainment solutions for the Junior National Volleyball championships. The initial scope included a solo DJ, atmosphere entertainment, a custom LED video wall, and an audio package designed to create a more engaging environment for athletes, families, and spectators.

The successful execution of that first championship established the foundation for what would become an ongoing partnership built on trust, consistency, and shared growth.

From a Single Activation to a Multi-Year Partnership

The success of the inaugural collaboration led to a multi-year agreement between AAU and New Sense. As the championship continued to expand, New Sense evolved alongside it, taking on a broader production role with each edition.

Rather than simply returning each year, the partnership grew through increased responsibility, expanded production capabilities, and a shared commitment to enhancing the overall event experience.

The First Championship

Building Momentum

Under the new multi-year agreement, New Sense returned to support another successful championship while strengthening its operational role and preparing for future expansion.

Expanding Across The Venue

By the third year, New Sense was delivering entertainment and production across multiple competition areas throughout the Orange County Convention Center, supporting a significantly larger operational footprint than the original activation.
